BARRACUDA DIVING INDIA began
operations in 1993 to promote the sport of recreational diving
in India. Affiliated to PADI (Professional Association of Diving
Instructors) of California, USA, the leading dive education organization
in the world, we are the first and only PADI Gold Palm 5 Star
Resort (Membership No-6023) within the entire Indian sub-continent.
Our membership, held since 1997, recognizes the high standards
of diver education, staff training, safety, equipment and service
maintained and denotes a quality control assurance to divers worldwide.

QUALIFICATIONS - Owners Venkatesh
Charloo (India) and Karen Gregory (U.K.) are both highly qualified
PADI IDC Staff Instructors and Emergency First Response Instructors
with extensive diving and teaching experience in Hong Kong, Philippines,
Australia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Andaman and Lakshadweep
Islands. They are able to offer a wide range of certification
courses and dive packages to suit individual needs. The Barracuda
team proudly received three PADI 'Awards of Excellence' in 2005
for outstanding dedication to customer care, service, safety and
diver training.

GOA MARRIOTT RESORT, at Miramar beach, a warm welcome awaits you
from the Barracuda team. Just 2km from the capital city of Panaji,
we are centrally situated for the convenience of divers in the
popular tourist areas of North and South Goa. An ideal opportunity,
after the morning dives, to visit the famous churches of Old Goa
or catch up on some last minute shopping in the city.

experience conducted weekly at the following resorts:
Sun Village Resort, Arpora: Mondays 10am to 12.30pm
Marinha Dorada, Arpora-Baga: Mondays 2.30pm to 4.30pm
Goa Marriott Resort, Miramar, Panjim: Tuesdays 3.30pm to 5.00pm
For those wishing to enroll in dive programs, pool training may
be conducted in the above resorts by prior booking. We'll come
to you!

EQUIPMENT maintenance and
servicing is a high priority with the Barracuda team to ensure
diver comfort and safety at all times. We offer top brand names
including Sherwood, Scuba Pro, Oceanic and Seaquest. All regulators
are fitted with Alternate Air Source, Pressure Gauge, Depth Gauge
and Compass. We request divers who wish to use DIN fittings to
carry their own adaptor. All prices are fully inclusive of equipment
with 3mm shorty wetsuit.

SAFETY, customer care and
fun ensured with dives conducted to suit the individual and dive
groups limited to 2-4 persons per certified Divemaster / Instructor.
A comprehensive medical kit including portable oxygen, communication
system and emergency plan is on board at all times. All staff
members are certified to administer basic first aid and CPR and
are extremely knowledgeable on local dive sites and marine life.

PROJECT A.W.A.R.E (Aquatic
World Awareness, Recognition and Education) - The Barracuda team
have 12 years of dedication to environmental conservation, aquatic
awareness and diver safety and education. Find out more about
participating in our current marine conservation projects and

a holiday in Goa and wish to enroll in a PADI diving certification
course please check the certification card and teaching status
of your individual Instructor throughout your course. NO other
diver, trainee or Divemaster except your PADI Instructor should
be teaching you in the pool or conducting training skills in the
